You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Please pray for Scott and Kelli DeVight (and their adult children). Scott has been diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma. There is now the need for more tests to determine the scope / spread of the disease. Here are some specific prayer requests:
- that the insurance company would reverse it's decision of denying to pay for the tests / scans.
- (from Kelli) Praying that Scott having a fever (which seems to be related to a swollen, painful area where a lymph node was removed) will not cause the scans to be postponed due to C-19 concerns. We haven’t been exposed that we know of but fever is a question that is always asked.
Just found out the surgeon has an appt tomorrow for a peer review re. the denied test. I’m really struggling with days going by in between finding these things out. Obviously wanting him to see oncology as soon as possible but we can’t make appt until scans are done and results are back.
BUT. we are praising God that the two lesions are not as concerning as initially thought. Now we’re praying the same is true for the affected nodes and, of course, the rest of his body.
Thank you !
Please pray for my father, James. Pray that he will be healed of a hurtful past and learn to love, respect and care for his family members. Pray that the Lord will teach my father to trust Him and give his life to Him. Praying for our elders and all of us in the weeks to come as some transition to in-person gatherings while others continue from a distance. Lord, grant us wisdom, honoring of each other, safety, and unity of spirit to be Your people despite the likely differences people have regarding government directives. Bless the volunteer platform that is soon to be unrolled, that we all might better serve one another. Give clarity and assistance to future children's programming. 17 radiation treatments down, 18 more to go! Please be praying that the radiation treatments will be effective in killing any remaining cancer in my body. No side effects felt to date. Thank you for praying for me. I am confident that your prayers have resulted in the positive progress of my current situation. I've developed an eye infection in my right eye that is causing it to swell. I really don't want to go to an eye doctor as Anna and I are supposed to stay away from all people leading up to the birth. Would greatly appreciate prayer that this resolves itself quickly and I don't have to see an eye doctor. Justin shared that his brother-in-law has improved. Thank you for praying. But also, Larry Byrne shared today that Chris Rosenau's father just passed away. Praying for the Rosenau family. The brother-in-law of Justin Jones (former Crossway) has COVID-19 and his condition is worsening. He is not a believer, though his sister is. Please pray for Chris Rosenau and his family. Chris’ dad’s health is failing and his time on the earth is likely drawing to a close. Please pray that the family’s travel is safe and that their time with Chris’ dad and extended family is meaningful. Crossway Family,
First of all thank you for your prayers for Courtney and I as we are Quarantine from each other at home for one week now. Please continue to pray for Courtney as she heads into week two of this virus. Pray also for wisdom for me as I am the COVID-19 point person for the youth shelter in Seattle. With my absence, the fear for staff and nearly 50 homeless youth continues to increase. Pray for their safety and even more importantly, for many to come to truly know Jesus. The hospitals are sending our coughing and symptomatic youth back to us because of their age and they don’t currently have space for them. Both Elisa and Jocelyn were exposed to the virus last Friday, when a co-worker on the same shift tested positive yesterday. Chick-Fil-A (Lynnwood) is closed for a week as a result, and our girls are quarantined for 2 weeks starting last Saturday. Prayers that the virus doesn't hit our home, and that we're wise in our dealings to prevent it and its spread.
A coronavirus case was reported at Cam's mom's retirement home today. Prayers for wisdom on whether or not we should remove her and put her back at her house (which we were preparing for sale, though those plans had stalled last week because of the crisis).Larry Byrne
